Update

I haven't posted in a while, life is crazy, so here is a quick update, I will post some pics of the last few months soon.

Our paperwork was logged in to China on March 22nd. We are now waiting for our referral acceptance (RA). They said it would take 2-4 months, but it seems to be averaging about 60-70 days. 60 days would be May 20th. Our adoption agency recommended we didn't count days, well that is like telling me not to eat!!! I an obsessed with counting the days, following other peoples journeys and counting there days. We are really praying to travel in July, this is possible if we receive RA in 60-70 days. We then wait for travel approval (TA) which could come a month later. If that happens we will travel in July.

We are still raising the funds to travel, and haven't decided yet if we will take the boys. They would like to go so we will see - finances will be the deciding factor.

We are having a fund raising yard sale Memorial Day weekend, people have been donating items to us. My house is starting to look like a second hand store.

Ethan entered his first triathlon on Saturday. He did it with Chris (teams of 1 adult, 1 child). They canoed 1 1/2 miles, rode bikes 3 1/2 miles and ran 1 1/2 miles. He did great and had lots of fun. I was very proud of him. He even out ran his daddy :)!!!!

Mia turns 4 this week. She is having a Tinkerbell birthday party on Saturday. She is SO excited to have a birthday party and invite all her friends. She is also getting ready for her first ballet recital.

We are getting very excited to have our friends the Salems move back to Richmond in a few months. Adeye is in the Ukraine right now adopting their 2 daughters you can following her journey by clicking here.

Hi Rachel,
We are an AWAA family, and followed your journey to Mia. I think you traveled about 3-4 months before we received our referral for Charlotte also CL/CP, and will be 4 soon:) We are in Chesapeake, so not that far from you guys. We are also LID, but had an unexpected blessing-baby, so had to put it on hold for a while. We will hopefully, get a referral in the fall, once our little one turns 1. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Excited to follow your journey back to China! And I just recently found Adeye's blog too, what an incredible family! Cool that you know them and that they are moving back to Richmond.

In Him,
Carla
