After a 9 hour layover in Chicago (our flight was 5 hours delayed) and then a 15 hour flight we finally made it to Hongkong. When we arrived here it was 10:00pm Friday so 10:00am for you guys. Mia did amazing on the plane she slept for about 7 hours. We had an extra seat so she was able to lay down. Chris and I got some sleep. After only 2 hours of sleep the night before and a very busy 10 days it was great to just sit :).
We were very relieved to see the driver we had booked to get us to our Hotel waiting for us, we were a little worried with being so late he wouldn't be there. It was a 30 min drive to the hotel which is right on the water on the Island of Kowloon. The hotel upgraded us to a suite, and we have an amazing view of the water. Across the water is down town Hong Kong where we will be going today to sight see. How blessed we feel to have been able to start off this journey in such an amazing way. God is so good to us. We woke early 6am Saturday for us 6pm Friday for you.
Well the day is going and we only have today to see Hong Kong so I'll post more later. We are catching a train to main land China tonight - should be an adventure.
I am having trouble down loading pictures I'll try again later.

So glad you arrived safely, friends. Sounds fabulous there. I LOVE how God gave you a suite as a little gift. Just perfect.
Have fun!
Wonderful and exciting Rachel! We are following you each step of the way. I'm sure the Benjamin and Ethan are looking forward to the arrival of their sister. God especially chose them to be perfect brothers to these two little girls.
Love Lyn
